I think we need a little perspective. Last night was a good place to pitch Nate. He looked really good on the three batters he got, especially the game ending strike out. If we have big leads I want to see him and Merriweather get some opportunities. Romano gave up a couple gopher balls in the past week also. A little note on our playoff odds, on August 28th we had a 4.4% chance to make playoffs, today we are 51% per fangraphs. Baseball reference expects the jays to win 94 games and gives them a 59.8% chance of postseason. Sports club stats says 66.3%.
Usually just not a fan of it as it puts certain things on a pedestal when it shouldnt be. Gotta think this has happened to multiple teams before. Or like how for basketball they highlight records at MSG when the same thing happens in other arenas before.Quote:
