The problem is be doesn’t play WR, he plays TE. Also Mike Evans doesn’t have trouble getting off the line of scrimmage.

Buddy, you're taking this way too far (and FWIW, in the wrong direction). You can value whatever you want. You called it a fact that most people would agree with you that on talent alone Pitts is below the likes of Farley or Surtain, and I've tried to show you that you're wrong. Not on your evaluation, necessarily, but on thinking you have the consensus of the majority behind you. Because you don't. That's all there is to it.
You can try to spin it all you want into position value and whatever your valuation of him says he is going to be in 3 years or whatever, but let's just call it what it is - your opinion, and not a fact.
Also, just my two cents, but people picking on his blocking is among the silliest takes I've seen during this offseason.
Unless the Eagles at 6 decide to go Farley or Surtain too because they could also do that
My feelings on pitts are simple If you can line him up at X and Y consistently whilst in 11 personnel and use him in 12 personnel as a TE
Then I’d take him
If he can’t legitimately play the X and Y then I wouldn’t
Yes, absolutely. If the Eagles take Pitts then that is what I will be hoping for. However, hoping that a guy will become possibly the best TE in history or being disappointed with the pick is just setting the bar way too high. Anything less than Kelce and it won't look too good.
