Did you get to check out Trumps rally of mental decline. It was pretty bad

I agree lockdowns aren’t the best solution to the Omicron variant, but you are mischaracterizing the WHO’s guidance. They did not say not to use lockdowns or that they were ineffective. To the contrary, they said lockdowns are sometimes necessary:

They said they were not a sustainable model, which is true.
Yeah, you brought it up (again) and then numerous people factually pointed out how full of **** you are (once again). Yet you continue to see that talking point as some sort of victory.
It's almost like you're some combination of completely disingenuous and effectively braindead.
I'm not mischaracterizing it. I'm applying it to what has happened since I'm saying a lockdown hasn't been warranted since that statement was made (in October 2020) yet Canada has gone into lockdown.
I outright said afterwards if there was a deadly variant then I would be understanding of a lockdown if we have to err on the side of caution. But that strain hasn't come yet. If it kills younger people or kills more of the population then sure. But as of right now, that hasn't happened and looking back for past 1.5 years, it wasn't warranted.
That's nowhere near true. 1 of my post used their exact wording "not the best solution", another post I had said 'in compliant' and the another applied it to what happened in the past as a situation.
I'm not sure what you are getting at here when I even said in the post you quoted that if there was a situation that warranted a lockdown I am all for it, but that the situation hasnt happened yet. If that situation hasnt happened yet yet my jurisdiction went into a lockdown, of course Im gonna say the lockdown shouldnt have happened.
That doesnt mean we cant have a lockdown in the future. But we have to get there first and the benefit to society has to be significant enough to justify it.
You had another post that said “organizations say lockdowns aren’t the answer”
Regardless, so long as you agree none of the medical organizations you mentioned are against lockdowns but believe they should be used circumstantially we are in agreement.
And I’m sure this is by mistake, but you previously said you supported lockdowns in the beginning but now you’re saying there has yet to be a situation that warrants a lockdown. Can you clarify?
