What is the goal of being dishonest? It’s unfortunate that there are people who suffer from gender dysphoria. But that doesn’t mean that I can or should in good conscience acknowledge that a man is a woman when he is not.

Repurposing ones genitals is most definitely mutilation. Cutting open my elbow to remove a few floaters is not mutilation. My elbow goes back to the exact same state it was. While the genital mutilation procedures change the purpose, aesthetics and usage of said genitals.

Doctors call them by their identifying gender, gender affirming care is the treatment.

Skeleton even matches identifying gender post mortem if hormones are started early enough. (Pelvis)

The only difference really is the genitals after hormone therapy , which is essentially gone when gender reassignment surgery is complete.

Men can get a penis, women get a vagina , etc.

It's a medical procedure - gender affirming care is the treatment and that sometimes includes hormone therapy, surgery, etc.


Mutilation is when it is non-medical.
So it doesn't fit

You're wrong. The genitals in surgerically reassigned trans people are absolutely mutilated. They are changed aesthetically, functionally and some parts and pieces get discarded. That is the absolute definition of surgical mutation.

Because whether you like it or not, many aspects of our lives are predicated on our biological sex. There also comes a moral side to this issue. Men have started identifying as women and competing in their sports, now you have achievements being taken from actual women. Men start requesting that they be given pap smears, now you are wasting a doctor’s time. A man insists he should be allowed to breast feed a child, when he physically cannot, now we are talking about the well-being of a child.

I have not yet witnessed a doctor addressing a patient as their “identifying gender”, but I’m sure at some point I will and I will let you know when that happens.

University of Philadelphia nominated Lia Thomas as their woman of the year. This is a really big deal. She could now take that title from actual woman who are 1000 times more deserving then her.

It’s a procedure that a lot of doctors aren’t willing to perform and we likely aren’t far off from an influx of lawsuits from men who can no longer achieve sexual gratification because they had their penis amputated.

That is the treatment , so yes, that is the consensus that doctors treat and refer to patients by their identifying gender.

Sports is not an issue. The studies show transgender women do not have a clear advantage and vice a versa. This is not a widespread issue and will never be.

Doctors know how to deal with patients, and they will. This is not a realistic issue plaguing doctors nor will it be.

Where are all of the trans women breast feeding children? This isn't a thing and it will never be a societal problem.


None of these are reasons to oppress transgender men or women. The negatives of the high rate of suicide of trans individuals far outweigh the (far right talking point) examples you have mentioned.
