A sane person who wants to preserve democracy would work with local and federal agencies to stop credible death threats. They would do so with some level of discretion so as to not cause a panic or inspire wannabe vigilantes.
But thats not what they're doing. They are screaming about these lies in nazi rally after nazi rally. They know their base is uneducated, easily stirred with their emotions, and in many cases armed. They are deliberately trying to incite more violence from their "patriotic" base.
Republicans are always the ones talking about a civil war and shooting leftists. Republican accusations are always confessions.
says the guy who said that the republicans need to instill fear into the democrats. Once again, which elected official, not a poster here or Joe sitting at the end of the bar, said that Republicans needed killing?
We won't go into how can you logically believe and parrot this bs. Ever heard of the term "Useful idiot"?

Good point. Up to your response, no one was able to provide an example.
But then there's this: https://www.adl.org/news/press-relea...ng-majority-of
Right-wing extremists were linked to at least 26 extremist-related murders in the United States in 2021 and have been responsible for 75 percent of such murders in the last ten years, according to new data from ADL (Anti-Defamation League).
According to an annual analysis of extremist fatalities by ADL Center on Extremism, domestic extremists were responsible for killing at least 29 people in the United States, in 19 separate incidents. This represents an increase from the 23 extremist-related murders documented in 2020 but is far lower than the number of murders committed in any of the five years prior, primarily because no high-casualty extremist-related shooting spree occurred this past year. Such sprees are the main contributor to high murder totals.
“This data underscores an indisputable fact: far-right extremists pose the greatest domestic terror threat to the United States,” said ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt. “But we need to keep in mind these statistics only capture a portion of the landscape of extremist violence and activity. Every year, extremists in the United States are involved in terrorist plots and acts, armed standoffs, shootouts with police, hate crimes, scams and cons, threats and harassment and a wide variety of other criminal acts.”
While all violence needs to be treated equally in terms of trials and consequences, it is quite evident that the GQP is responsible for the bulk of it. They continue to hold nazi style rallies in which they spread misinformation and use violent language.
This has been expressed to the right-wingers here before. Timothy McVeigh is the poster boy of right-wing extremism.
No one is condoning the congressional baseball game shooting, but that wasn't fueled by extremist talk coming from elected officials or left-wing talking heads.
Once again it is about looking away from Rep. Greene's warning to the faithful that the democrats are seeking to kill them to a assume democrat or the left transgression. Like what she said wasn't problematic. Well at least for the republicans.
Standard practice.
Yeah thats a difference that is being ignored here. The baseball game shooting was an awful, tragic, and isolated event. That gunman wasn't inspired by countless "rallies" in which elected officials spread lies and incite violence.
That violent mindset is seen all the time. desantis recently thought it was a good idea to remind the public of the 2nd amendment as it somehow relates to hurricane Ian. Thats the mindset in the GQP: if something wrong is done to them (even if only perceived) they feel they have the right to use deadly violence. Since they're al being lied to about fraudulent elections, they feel they've been wronged, and are being primed to use deadly violence to "defend themselves". That's why we're seeing this rise in right wing extremism and murders.
It's dangerous and we need to start by eliminating all discussion of fraudulent elections because there's no evidence for it. Next we need to remove any official from office who incites violence with misinformation campaigns and lie-filled rallies.
