The thing I don't understand is Republicans crying about statute of limitations and if it was such a crime, why did it take so long to indict? Meanwhile the DOJ (since 1973) has established a policy where a sitting president can be investigated for crimes but can't be prosecuted for them until he leaves office. There was no way Bill Barr was going to let any serious investigation go on into Trump in respect to what happened in NY. This while MAGA supporters also complain about politics being played. Well, I didn't see them complaining about the politics being played that had the Trump administration essentially derail previous investigation attempts by the NY DA.Quote:

We are watching this country tear itself apart. Russia and China think it is a good time to challenge us like Japan and Germany did when we were deep in the depression and public discontent. This time we don't have our manufacturing sector to back us. Add in that people aren't feeling patriotic as they did then, and we aren't prepared for a major conflict with two superpowers. But yet our politicians keep saber-rattling before the world to even talk about invading Mexico. It won't stop.
So no, this doesn't concern me, since is just more bickering that is distracting the public. Family squabbling while their house is on fire. It's disheartening.
