The fact that before any shooting happened one of them said to the others "They're ready to roll" and then moved away tells us that was never the intention.
Again, why else would they say that and then move away? Why wouldn't either of the other officers say "Who is? Roll where?"
These are questions you can't answer, and won't attempt to, because we both know that the answers all point to the same thing: what they were doing was coordinated.
Or those three just had hockey tickets and were afraid they were going to miss the puck drop.
I wonder which ones of those seems more reasonable?
Edit: And I'll be happy to see any video of the police during the summer of 2020 wading into the middle of the crowd, trapping themselves between a crowd and a barrier, and then beginning to remove people. Surely you can find countless examples of this, yes?
