This is the clearest I’ve heard the quiet part said out loud about Make America Great Again.

Another trial for someone indicted by John Durham, another acquittal. It's hard to think of a less successful special council off the top of my head.
Hey Brewers, I’ll make you a deal I’ll go cry some more if you can explain to me the 5th dimensional chess that Durham was playing by allegedly “getting his *** handed to him” in court.
Watching the political adds, keeping up online, etc, it is crazy how much the republican party has transformed themselves into what Trump represents. The platforms we constantly see are:
1. Crime: The claim is crime is off the charts. Reality is, outside a spike in 2020, crime is far better than it was 2-3 decades ago.
2. Debt: McConnell is at it again, stating republicans would rope in the debt. Reality is, the debt goes up under Republican control far higher than it does under Dem control. Reality is this is a partisan issue, and the debt went up far more under Trump than it has with Biden
3. The claim is the borders are spilling in more illegals than ever. Reality is, the mid 2000's (under Bush) had more illegal immigration. Under Biden, there have also been far more apprehensions than under Trump.
4. Inflation- the pandemic started it, Trump tax cuts and partisan based assistance accelerated it. This is a global issue, not a Biden issue. In the meantime, corporate profits are at a 70 year high.
5. Gas prices- blame Biden...yet oil companies are making the highest profits in years. We have a system in place where the largest corporations literally influence our policies, and until that changes, no sitting president should be blamed for fuel.
It was said yesterday in the Demings-Rubio debate, by Demings. Basically, she is asking what happened to Rubio (and the GOP)? They have gone down this path of no return, literally lying and saying words that are absolutely false considering their actions. Trumpism has rolled down into the party, and turned the GOP into a bullying, lying, sold their soul to the devil party.
And people listen to them, which tells us more about the state of progress in this country over all else. People actually listen to their lies, and believe them. It's insane to me.

Using the FBI data, the violent crime rate fell 49% between 1993 and 2019, with large decreases in the rates of robbery (-68%), murder/non-negligent manslaughter (-47%) and aggravated assault (-43%). (It’s not possible to calculate the change in the rape rate during this period because the FBI revised its definition of the offense in 2013.) Meanwhile, the property crime rate fell 55%, with big declines in the rates of burglary (-69%), motor vehicle theft (-64%) and larceny/theft (-49%).
Using the BJS statistics, the declines in the violent and property crime rates are even steeper than those reported by the FBI. Per BJS, the overall violent crime rate fell 74% between 1993 and 2019, while the property crime rate fell 71%.
The GQP is wrong again. However, perception, just like those of posters on this forum, is different:
Americans tend to believe crime is up, even when the data shows it is down. In 20 of 24 Gallup surveys conducted since 1993, at least 60% of U.S. adults have said there is more crime nationally than there was the year before, despite the generally downward trend in national violent and property crime rates during most of that period.
The GQP plan is working because perceptions of crime rates are vastly different than the expected.

You're correct that with regard to national debt, it has increased during all administrations:
https://fiscaldata.treasury.gov/amer...national-debt/
However, the national debt is a scare tactic figure that doesn't give a complete picture of the economy and how average Americans are affected. The economy tends to do much better for average Americans under democrat administrations/control:

If your statement about the border were true, then there wouldn't be more apprehensions under the Biden administration, but there are.

You made three claims with no evidence to support them. Although this is pretty typical of the far right posters on this board (and across the country), I'd like to say that I'm open to reading research that proves your claims.
Otherwise, they're just claims. Empty claims that hurt your credibility and put your overall intelligence into question. Prove us wrong. Show us the research that supports your claims.
show me evidence of your claims. Because frankly, that is all they are, spoonfed to you by your party media.
Last I checked, California and New Mexico are on the border, just like AZ/TX. So 4 states. Neither blue state complains about it as this invasion. I wonder why that is (hint: stir up voter base).
McConnell is talking about the debt. Acting like his party isn't just as, or more, responsible for it climbing. Totally a republican tactic, and you guys buy it..
Yeah, in Republican states.
https://www.thirdway.org/report/the-...murder-problem
and yet the response is, "cities are blue!!". Which obviously totally ignores what feeds crime, which is:
Access to guns
Poverty
weaker access to education growing up
all of which are consistent with most red states as being anywhere from way below average to the absolute worst. Without a doubt, red states are responsible for the metro areas within them, as they set the gun laws, decide how to fund/balance education, and we absolutely know the highest rates of poverty are in red states.
So crime is down massively over time, but has increased from Covid levels when everyone was quarantined and crime dropped sharply?
Why was the MAGA candidate out in Arizona masturbating in front of children? Aren't these the ***holes who tell us that Democrats are doing this ****?
