I think his only competition is DeSantis, but even then, if Trump runs, given his large swath of supporters, he would be tough to beat.

Same and I think its completely foolish to dismiss his candidacy. There's a reason why 74 million people voted for him in the last election. Look, I get dark horse candidates happen. Trump was one in 2016 but to me, he's the guy right now. I know he hasn't officially declared his intentions to run yet but that's just a mere formality. He will sooner than later.

but won't he be too old? I mean that was the whole issue with Biden right? he was too old and he was slowing down and his old age is showing? 2024 Trump is going to be the same age as Biden was in 2020, Trump has also had just as mean mental gaffes as Biden has. so wouldn't that mean you are going to be voting for a "sleepy" Donald Trump?

yeah and I live right smack dab in conservative country also. I live in southeast iowa, nothing but farmers and good ol boys. all I see anymore are Trump 2024 flags and signs. I also work with a lot of truck drivers and have had several of them tell me Trump is their guy.
