The bottom line is there is discontent brewing in our country on both sides and as time goes on it will grow more bitter and sustained. People will start looking for answers in all the wrong places since they don't trust the government. You can bet your bottom dollar someone will ride that discontent to power.

You can argue that George W. was the worst president, but I say it's Trump. He legitimizes extremism as a political creed. Turbocharged our bipolarism and was most willing to encourage us to go after each other throats for personal glory. He made the Republicans distrust the FBI, and NATO and cheer despotic leaders. Something I have never seen before from them. Neo-Nazi supporter as a presidential advisor? We may detest Trump, but he definitely will have a lingering effect.

That is something that has been going on for a long time, now it is just up front and center with no shame. They are openly admitting they need extremists and racists to gain power. I just want to know how long and far they are willing to go to "not upsetting their supporters" to get their vote. Plus, it isn't like they are going to dump or turn on these supporters after the election. They will just ignore them and the things they say like the conservative poster here does.

Notice not one republican elected official is criticizing Rep. Greene, one of their major fundraiser, for her speech.

Even butthurt Mitch didn't raise up to defend his wife from Trump's racial slur. Not even a mean word towards Trump. No morals, no integrity or shame. Anything and anybody it takes to maintain power. sign them up.

It's definitely an argument to be had about whether Bush or Trump were the worse president. I fall on the side of Bush because he ****ed up so much of our country in ways that I believe have far more long reaching impact than what Trump did. All the lives and money lost in the wars that Bush started in his attempt to clean up his dad's mess along with the 21st century version of the crusades. Trump attacked many of our protected rights but he built on the work of Bush in that respect. The Patriot Act alone puts Bush ahead of Trump for me. Bush has been working overtime to clean up his legacy and Trump has helped him whitewash it in any respects because Bush wasn't the bombastic type like Trump.

Because they are for it. It isn't problematic for them and their corrupt sense of democracy The left deserves whatever they get. They are ruining America and, now, want to kill republicans. They sincerely believe that. If Rep. Greene came into power and rounded up leftists, they would be cheering. Might even heave a brick or two our way. Brewers did say the right need to instill fear into the left. I don't think that thought is solely his own. They have a long wish list of people needing corraling.
