Well of course you didn't see that. The language in the "code of conduct" was, in all likelihood, very general to leave room for interpretation. The important question is whose interpretation? The same people that created this non-inclusive policy?

People who followed Trump are NOT conservatives, they are anarchists. I think we need to make this distinction clear.

I think it should be open season on getting to punch a Trump supporter in the face and telling them their "low IQ can not be quantifiable." Then watch them try to figure out what you just said. Otoh, I think it should be open season of kicking liberals in the balls.

What you’ve described is terrorism. No other way to put it. Making violence ok based on politics.

That is where we are heading. The republicans have been bruising for a fight with their constant need to put others in their place or silence them. Book banning, attacking gay rights, laughing at climate change or pandemic rules, feeding the mantra of "We will not be replaced", and constantly having candidates who push race or the lack of religious belief as the problem.

Some on the left feel that we are heading toward civil war by the actions of the republicans and some of their people's desire for it. They are tired of it and I can understand the desire to just say, "F, it. Bring it on."

This bad blood has been brewing for some time, and I don't see how we will resolve this dilemma any other way. A crying shame because that isn't the right mindset going into tough times.

Trump is a narcistic sore loser. He's always been that way. He's always blaming his failures on other people and other circumstances. The 2020 election was no different. There was no way that man was going to accept losing irrespective of who he lost to. If democracy be damned in the process so be it.

He's established a nice precedent though. Presidents and presidential candidates can now disregard the American system of voting by suggesting there is massive fraud without evidence of there being so.

When you kill people's trust in the system, it doesn't bode well for the future. It is hard to regain the trust that is lost.

Yup. It works both ways as well. They'll be elections in the future where certain Democrats will cry foul and not accept losing as well. All it does is undermine the process. Sore losers exist on both sides. Trump just happens to be the biggest sore loser to date.
