He’s so broken up about it that he’s got a rally scheduled for tomorrow. The deposition should go on as scheduled. He smells weakness in this decision.

Someone sure takes this place way too seriously.
He has too much of an ego not to run and its not just about Biden. If he loses the nomination to DeSantis or some other Republican, he'll complain that he never lost that either. Narcissists like Trump don't put blame on themselves for any of their failures. Its always someone else's fault.
I actually think that his ego would rather not run. He can’t handle the ego bruising of another loss. He’s been saying for three years counting about how bad Biden is and to lose twice to him is more than he could possibly bear. But with his legal issues, he needs him some of that immunity and protection that comes with being a political candidate.
It’s not me speculating, it’s conservatives think tanks:

They said Tucker would run for President when Trump was the incumbent President? I’m skeptical.
Why would it be a Democratic fantasy? Why are conservatives the ones talking about it?
Didn’t you said these same words verbatim about Trump before 2016 shortly before you voted for him lol?
Why would it be a fantasy? He'd be just as horrible as Trump and DeSantis.
Probably worse.
