The thing is Special when you say "each should be prosecuted based on the law" the inference there is that people aren't. Then someone will of course point this out, and you'll go "I NEVER SAID THAT".

It's the Jordan Peterson strategy. Never actually make the prescriptive claim. Create the trail of bread crumbs that leads everyone to the same place, but then when someone says "so you think ____" throw your arms up and say "HOW DARE YOU PUT WORDS INTO MY MOUTH".

media has people convinced these Trump supporters rioting were going to overtake the government and make changes.

they were wrong for rioting, but nobody should be dumb enough to think they were going to change the election results.

I would imagine many of them rioting were not smart enough, probably didn't even think they would get in like they did, and once they were in didn't know what to do so they sat in offices and stole property.

I'm sure he knows nothing about them when he retweets them and their supporters in the GOP (although he can't do this anymore since he is a terrorist leader), but nice of you to move the goal posts and somehow still hurt your argument. Even when you deflect you miss--that's remarkably impressive.

If they were trying to downplay the riot why would they film right in front of a fire?

Trump’s acolytes are upset because #1984 doesn’t work on Twitter. But they aren’t very bright since you can’t use hashtags for numbers.
