Last night was all about GTJ, Flynn and Yuta. All 3 had their best games in. Raptor uniform. It was really good to see those guys score the basketball. I didnt realize GTJ picked up a Dame Lillard impression while playing with him in Portland. Dear lord he was unconscious last night.

GTJ played like Dame Dolla...it was Dame Time for Trent but can he flip that switch again tonight at the Garden playin in New York

In a normal season, I actually think we could bounce back. Even with a fully rested Lowry and Pascal, we look so tired out there.

Flynn needs to be more aggressive and let it fly. He's so useless otherwise. You can't pass up shots as a pick and roll guard in the current nba.

They used net ratings to say his defence sucks. They said he's only a spot up shooter, black hole etc. Then weirdly knocked him for trying too hard.

I have been reading a lot of love for Trent Jr from Blazer fans but yeah I disagree with that assessment about him. I'm excited to see him develop through our system. I really like his upside.

Someone on rgm posted some excerpts when the trade happened. People were convinced he was basically Danny Green without the defence lol.

Yeah seems like they soured on him cause he didn't come out of the gate scoring 20+ points and got benched by Stotts. It's funny cause they're all mad at Stotts now.

I think they are due for a coaching change. Their defense has really let them down and they have added players that should help them in that area.

I understand that they’ll never openly say that they’re taking. But the moves the FO made at the deadline dont indicate that they’re still trying to win. For example sending Davis off for a 2nd rounder doesn’t help when we have no bench. I understand he wasn’t playing well this year, but we would certainly need some depth in the post season. It really seems to me they’re gearing up for the draft. We are one game ahead of 14th place.

I think they are very much trying to win. Masai and Bobby alluded to giving this team a chance to make the playoffs. Nurse has been very open about wanting to win before and after the deadline. They are definitely prepared for all directions but I have a hard time believing they have given up on the season when they are a couple games back from a playoff spot.

Honestly this season is so frustrating for so many reasons and one of them is actually the play in. The Raptors are losing and are not even guaranteed a lottery pick.

The front office just seems so bad this season. Seems like they didn't have a backup plan. In past years they had the "internal development" excuse but they can't use that this season. I think this season was always going to be a write off for them but they just didn't anticipate it going this poorly and had no back up plan/motivation to make short term moves.
