Many people here do not think they should try to pile up wins for the play in. It is time to embrace the lottery balls.

They are a proud bunch, it is possible they make a run, but given what little is to be gained from it, I think accepting a lost season is a more logical option.
You are right to say they look gassed. Being reliant on the same few guys every game with a suspect bench doesn’t help the stamina either.
If anything, I want to see Flynn and Trent log plenty of minutes rest of season. Guys that may have a chance to be in the mix like Watson or Bembry (when they get back), I would like to see get some run. Some periodic rest for our main guys probably would be beneficial too.
The lack of ball movement was painfully obvious against Detroit. Barely any assists.
The front office overestimated how good our starters are. In hindsight, our bench was VERY good last year and Masai oddly didn't bring them back. Are any of our bench wings even better than RHJ?
Having Powell and Ibaka coming off the bench certainly helps. It was the Ibaka/Gasol departures that killed the team. Some of the bench moved into new roles.
Terence Davis was a key bench piece, Boucher was a key bench piece. RHJ was certainly useful, but I'm not sure it is a significant difference between him and the guys we have now. Gasol's departure was slowly occurring due to decline anyways, but Serge could have certainly helped.
So in finding new reasons of interest to watch games, one of the things that excites me for tomorrow (OKC) is seeing Aleksei Pokushevski play. Wiry 6'10 ball handler. A bit of an odd prospect in last years draft, but he's been getting some run recently for OKC and producing. A Poku/Boucher matchup might be the skinniest matchup in NBA history (I haven't the research to support the claim).
Even before the trade deadline, the FO didn't really make an attempt to replace the talent that left. I'm not sure that Bembry, Yuta or Johnson are better than RHJ. It's not like RHJ was commanding loads of money either. Even Yuta was a last minute addition when Len unexpectedly got dumped. Baynes and Len were pitiful additions to the team. It's obvious they were going after Giannis, but it is almost like they didn't even try.
lmfao no they're not, not even close. RHJ is way more polished than any of them. None of them can shoot so that's a wash. RHJ is a better cutter than any of them and is a better finisher inside. He's also a better ball handler and is bigger and stronger than any of them. None of them have brought the same intensity and energy that RHJ brought.
