Really guys? I thought I was late posting here. Fred is playing with history tonight. 11 threes.
Also he has to be the best at getting steals.

Man so happy for the guy
What a performance!
So glad I just got his Jersey ;)
I definitely enjoyed this 50 banger better than the ross performance. When ross dropped his 50 it was a pure offensive performance. But the complete game fred played was one of the best I seen. Played amazing defense all night. Guy is an animal.... Wouldnt be surprised to see an all star nod this year. The way norms playing too man it would be tough to pull him out of that lineup. Some good problems to have as we head into the meat and potatoes of the season. Bembry has looked good playing with the lowry but then again so has countless others who have benefited from playing with him.
If Raps can get like a 6th seed by the time reserves are announced he may be going to the all star game.
Agreed. I’d love to see more assists from him, but that isn’t what makes a great PG anymore. Have to be able to do all the things Fred is doing.
I would be interested to see if he could adjust and put up the type of assist numbers Lowry put up when we got kawhi.
If FVV was a couple inches taller he would be better than Beal.
I think Fred just does whatever it takes to win each night. He also knows that like Siakam, this team needs him to ne aggressive offensively and create shots.
When Lowry wasn't there last year early on his assist numbers increased. He's 100% ready to be the lead guard of a good NBA team.
Also, the more Norm starts, the more I think they should extend him instead of hoping he leaves after this season. He started out slow this year, but keeps playing better and better. He has now scored 20+ in 5 straight and and is shooting over 40% from deep for the 3rd straight season. He has shown that if you play him 30 minutes, he is going to put points on the board. In his 8 starts he is averaging 20.5 ppg in 32 minutes this year, and in his 26 starts last year he averaged 18.7 ppg in 31 minutes.
Last year they were 20-6 in the games Norm started, and this year they are 5-3. So the team does better when Norm starts. He is still just 27 for another few months, so he is just entering his prime.
I think the fastest path back to being a top 4 team in the East is locking Norm up to be our starting SG before he hits the open market, and then trading Lowry for a starting 5 with multiple years of control. (Hence my trade suggestion in the other thread)
This team has 2 championship starting caliber PG's, but 0 championship starting caliber 5's to go up against guys like Embiid, Adebayo and AD. That is what we need to find again. We had 2 of them and let them both slip away for nothing.
This echoes with my thoughts! Norm would be the perfect 2 on this team. We have to be able to get over our emotional bond with players. Love lowry no doubt about it, just as a team with hopes to retool, it just makes sense to diversify the roster a bit and get a big in. We could always bring lowry back down the road for that emotional sentiment.
