You can't have a team routinely go through 6-7 minute stretches without scoring and expect to win in today's NBA. Defense is effort, and when the team isn't winning, that effort has a way of evaporating.
Masai swung for the fences on free agents and missed. Lost a couple key pieces in the process. But we know what the ceiling is for the rest of the team and it's not a contender. Gotta blow this up or players will get frustrated and things will fall apart behind the scenes anyway.
He sounded really stupid there. Guys like Aldridge/Griffin were only in the way of younger players getting more playing time. It make perfect sense for them to get bought out. I don’t get why everyone makes a big deal. Those guys are not very good anymore they are just “names”Quote:
