I found it surprising they didnt challenge the Lowry charge. To me that was an obvious offensive foul. They had their chances, just couldn't hit key shots.

These back to back with the same team is so boring to watch. I cant get into watching both games so I try to watch 1 or another.
Thank god I am not the only one that thinks TD came in and just made a mess of his minutes... Getting Lowry back was nice, but with him off his beat, it affected the rhythm and the flow they had coming into this game. Yuta keeps looking good in the minutes he gets.. Can always use some height in this lineup... damn was brutal watching the Lowry, Fred and Powell lineup although I predicted with norm playing well he deserves to start. I knew it would have to be in the three spot with nick being so hung up on his Lowry Fred combo.
This team has improved a lot since the start of the season. They are not contenders this year, but I'm happy to see Nurses' system is still proving it's worth while the new pieces are starting to figure out their roles in it. I can see us being the 4-5 seed this year, despite the sub-500 record so far.
Loved the effort and fight tonight. The Raptors just couldn't make enough shots down the stretch.

They played hard. FVV struggle with his shot, but seeing all the steals, blocks and playmaking demonstrate how hard he was competing. What did he get, like 3 blocks and 4 steals or something tonight. Also no OG.Quote:

I liked Watanabe, Bembry and Siakam tonight. Great energy and defensive competitiveness.
Too many lapses as a whole though. We are too thin to play the same without OG and Powell.
Watanabe has been a nice surprise this season. Might end up being part of their future plans. He has good size and plays with energy. Moves the ball and has a nice looking shot.Quote:

On top of that i love the fact that he makes good plays most of the time he is on the court and you gotta love a guy who digs in hard and then shows his emotions. Heck he gets me pumped up when he is clapping hard or celebrating those small defensive plays.

It was also nice to see a few shots go down for Watson. Dude can shoot/score, but its hard to look good playing 5 min at a time. Also, that alley-oop to Bembry came out of nowhere last night.....didn't see that coming. They have a really deep bench for positions 2 and 3. They need to trade some of that for front court help.
Yeah, Watanabe has gotten better with each game. Isn't he on a 2 way deal?
