Barnes, Bouknight, Jalen Johnson, Keon Johnson, Kuminga etc. After top 4, it's a **** show.

Fingers crossed.
I think Mobley would be a nice target for us. But I’m ok with going bpa. I just don’t want another combo guard like you mentioned. The back court of the future is already set with FVV-Trent jr.
I rarely like to go with needs as a posed to picking the bpa, but our 1 through 4 is pretty set already. Even if the big man is a project, at least we have someone to develop at the 5 instead of over paying for a mediocre big in free agency.
We are most likely to fall in the 7-9 range. Some lottery luck or a small fall in the standings would help draft higher.
Lottery Luck: Top 4 right now appears to be Cunningham, Suggs, Mobley, Green
5 is most commonly Kuminga.
6-9 is a variety of candidates: Keon Johnson, Scottie Barnes, Moses Moody are commonly in this range
James Bouknight, Davion Mitchell (recent surge up the draft board), Corey Kispert, Jalen Johnson, Ziaire Williams and Kai Jones all find there way mixed with the above names in various mocks.
If they were to draft a guard (ie. Davion Mitchell), I think they'd need to deal Flynn or FVV. Even Keon Johnson, at 6'5 creates a roster crunch with the guards. I don't love Gary Trent having to play too much SF.
I wonder if the team would be willing to trade down if BPA is another guard. Would a team like the Knicks move both their picks to move up and grab a guy like Davion Mitchell? Would we even want to do that, or stick with BPA and figure out the roster after?
Siakams been killing bigs off the dribble since losing the weight from covid. Looks like prime siakam to me.
And I know he doesn’t look the part, but OG might be the strongest raptor of all time. Seems like he shows off subtle feats of strength every game. Very impressed with the kid. Glad he’s locked up. Totally a piece of a winner.
We are winning the lotto and drafting Cade!
Lol. Subtle Yahoo...

Pascal Siakam (rest, tanking) will not play on Saturday vs. the Cavaliers
Must win?
Do some still believe the roster as constricted would have any luck in the playoffs? I’m so confused by that. Can you outline our 8-9 man rotation for the post season? I get up to about 6 players that can be relied on, how would that suffice? Maybe I’m missing something here.
Raptors want to tank and cavs are like we are better at it. Just like wiz the other day.
Trent Jr...
I definitely believe they were embracing the idea of being a lottery team at the deadline if the team went that route as Masai alluded to being prepared for all directions. However, I'm not sure it is fair to say that they want the team to lose because they were not able to strengthen the team.

Well at the TDL it was obvious raptors needed front court help to make any kind of run. But they didn’t get any help. I know raptors don’t like to lose on purpose but they are simply having a poor season. Yet the other teams are so bad the poor season is going to result in a mediocre draft pick.
I feel like we can turn Freddie Gillespie into something
Trent goes off for 44 points but really tho against the Cavs? I guess I can't really be all that impressed well because it is the Cavs. However, 44 points is no small feat. Malachi Flynn had a double double though 20 points 11 assists but he showed somethin tonight so I'll give him credit for your team tho.
But yeah we will see what this Raptors team can do between now and the end of the season. It was a good win sure but play in chances are slim.
I get it from not wanting to be stuck in the middle but the play in makes it a little more difficult to get a top 5 pick. Cant make a case against wanting the team to lose from a fan perspective, it makes sense but I believe Masai and Bobby will get this team back to their winning ways regardless of how they finish this season.

Birch will most likely play tomorrow. Lowry might play as well.

If you mean his body looks strong, sure. I dont think he is anything special in terms of a project though. I was shocked to see him play so much below the rim finishing around the basket. He did a good job boxing people out, but didnt look like much of an option on the pick n roll
Last night was all about GTJ, Flynn and Yuta. All 3 had their best games in. Raptor uniform. It was really good to see those guys score the basketball. I didnt realize GTJ picked up a Dame Lillard impression while playing with him in Portland. Dear lord he was unconscious last night.
He moves well, has insane length, can set hard screens and knows when/ has the mobility to slip them. You're expecting too much from a 10 day.
