Covid Vaccine

Was able to get my first dosage today.

Let’s see how I feel tomorrow.

I know every state is doing this somewhat differently, but could you tell us what group you fell into?
In mine, I should fall into the group with underlying conditions, but apparently my county is going strictly by age and are doing 70+ now......of course, they'd already gone thru groups like health care workers, first responders, etc

Same as you. In NY underlying conditions for everybody was allowed about 2 weeks ago.

Some sites are dedicated strictly to older people, but was able to make an appointment at Yankee Stadium since they are a mass vaccination site.

I would try to persuade you to change your mind, but ultimately, the choice is yours. Companies cannot require the vaccines for continued employment, as they are not fully approved, they just have emergency use authorization.

Which company's vaccine did you get. Moderna has different side effects than Pfizer.

I got Pfizer.

Just feeling a bit tired and sore left arm.

Hearing that after the second shot is when you get a bit more severe side effects.

Mine were a lot worse the first shot, but I had Covid. The 2nd shot gave me a horrible headache.

Dr. Fauci said today that those of us that had Covid may be able to get by with just 1 shot. I won't know as I have had 2.
