I agree, my wife and I flew out in September 2015 for a Jays series with Boston. The atmosphere was electric! We went again in the spring of 2017 and 2019, but they didn't compare to 2015. we may try to go again this year but tickets might be impossible to get.Quote:

He's coming into his 7th season so he already has more seasons than AA (6 seasons) and 1 behind JP (8 seasons) so if we make the playoffs this year, his resume has enough to pass AA as 2nd best GM (2 playoff appearances to 1).
Gillick was GM for 14 years and has 2 WS rings so he's pretty far away.
Atkins has 2 playoff appearances already. Aside from that, he’s built a powerhouse farm system, has been able to sign top free agents (Ryu, Springer, Gausman)every off season since 2019, has pulled off some awesome deals, completely revamped a horrendous player development system etc. The list goes on.Quote:

Dont think being 32-28 and not even making an impact in the expanded playoffs is much to write about IMO. The extra 6 teams who made it that year may as well have won a participation trophy.
