Clint Frazier a gold glove finalist.
What a turn of events for the young outfielder.

When was the last time the LA Dodgers actually won a WS? Seems relavent since most posters here usually are complaining about how long it has been since Yankees have won a WS; anything else is a failure so Dodgers have "failed" each of those 3 years too, right? Right?
1. Improves poor defense at SS, a key defensive position.
2. Adds a lefty bat to balance out the line-up.
3. Gives us a young stud about to enter his prime.
4. Provides us with a legitimate leadoff hitter and allows us to drop DJ to the 3 hole to drive in more runs through contact.
Good for him, all that tough work has payed off for him. Talk about boosting his value in 60games. Last winter we were getting no traction on trading him for anything useful, this winter were going to get asked for him in every potential big trade. Thats not me advocating to trade him unless we get a top starter, i'm just commenting on the incredible job Frazier did changing his career path
Nobody is off limits, but i would find it very challenging to move Frazier, even if a solid pitcher is available.
Gardy's done. Stanton, Hicks, and Judge are injury guaranteed. Tauchman looked like a flash in the past good enough to give someone a rest, but not someone you want in an every day line-up. Florial doesn't look completely ready and not playing this year didn't help. Wade is nothing more than a AAAA player.
Excellent post.
The only problem is if the Dodgers win this year, you will hear a chorus of "I told you so's"
The other thing about all this is, while I know it's 20 years but the Yankees 5 WS in a row and 6 out of 7 years from 96-2003
Before 96? 1981. Imagine if PSD was around then? These whining *****es would have torn themselves to shreds. It's a bunch of spoiled, ignorant pricks.
I don't like Cashman and it's time for him to go but the whining from some posters is absurd.
I agree with everything and would add, he can steal bases and he doesn't K a ton.
He would be my first choice for a position player. Will Hal fork up the loot? Who knows. If he does, will he fork up the loot for Lindor and a TORP? You are looking at a lively 50 mil per year bump if he does.
That's why Stanton is such an friggin anchor. If you could get his 20+ off the books? Much greater freedom.
I would also disagree in moving DJ to the 3 spot. I would keep him 1 and bat Lindor 2. That is only because of the lefty/righty imbalance of the team.
DJ
Lindor
torres
Judge
Hicks
Stanton
It wouldn't matter TBH, because it's all righties after that anyway.
I agree. I also think he's going to get better and better..
Talkman is a great defensive replacement and spot starter. Florial has been a bummer. he still has time but it's running out for sure.
The Yankees are in for some tough times because of the Stanton contract. I wonder if they move Torres or Judge? Because right now, they may not want to pay them both the money they will command.
