Do you genuinely want Bauer or you just like to moan? Whoever gets him looks likely to have a horrendous over pay? Trouble all over. Our business been very good so far. I just hope I can get over by end of season to catch a game.

I would love them to move him but he was so bad, they can't. He also plays a premium position. If he can get it together he's more valuable than Judge or Stanton. I think right now, Judge, Torres and Voit are the most tradable pieces with the highest return

Tanaka went home for $7.75MM.....team would have been better with him.

Yankees messed this one up for 2021 IMO.

Tanaka would have been more reliable than Kluber IMO.

Money and length of a contract is why Hal went with Kluber instead of giving Tanaka $15 million per for 3/4 years.

It feels like stop gap starters and if we win we win and if we lose then we pick out a new number from the hat.

I posted it because it came for a very reliable source and that reliable source pulled back hours later. It seemed like he wanted to call the story first. And his alert popped up on my phone as I would have never posted it without the alert.

Bauer seems to just want to beat Cole for the highest average for 2021. Now the Dodgers seem interested.

Well...if the number reported above, $7.5M is accurate Yankees made a mistake not exploring further. Tanaka on a short term deal at that number is a no brainer imo.

I would be surprised if he eclipses $25-28M. He needs the Giants, Dodgers, Angels, SD, Mets, Cubs and the Yankees involved. :)

Long term is correct with your number.

But he might take. 1/37 just beat Cole for one year. And the Mets will pay that. Hell, the Yankees could pay that.
