I can almost guarantee there’s going to be a whale of a story behind this. Cano is rich enough to afford drugs and regimens that would easily escape detection. Taking stanozolol is bonkers. Poor kids take it, not bazillionaires.
It’s one thing to use after you’ve been busted. It’s another to use stanozolol, a drug that is insanely detectable. It defies any logic. Can’t wait to hear this explanation.
More to this story? Wait for the other shoe to drop.

Aaron Boone said Clarke Schmidt might need more "seasoning." Too soon to factor him into the Yankees' rotation plans?
Twitter buzz suggesting Cano's suspension may be invitation for Cohen to pursue DJ.
thats pretty close to what my source has been saying for the last couple weeks.
There has to be one hell of an explanation from Cano how he got caught taking Stanzol. Its abou the most easily detectable and cheap old school PED around. Makes no sense that a player with his experience with PEDS would get caught taking that particular PED
Cano's money won't count against there salary cap so they just got a huge, huge bonus especially in this market. This could very well open them up to going after 3-4 big stars this winter, DJ included.
If i were the Yanks i would hurry up and either sign DJ or trade for Lindor. They will be in a tough position next yr if they don't have either
I will go out there, do the Mets pay him off somehow to take it and retire? You scratch our back we will scratch yours, kind of thing? He;'s owed 3 more years in eluding next. He's 38.
We have seen the Astros cheat in ways no one thought possible, could an MLB team, set up a payment plan that would bring on Cano as a "special advisor" for the next 15 years that averages 5 mil a year. They could pay him 2.5 mil a year with a "bonus" of 8 mil every 5 years/
Would they pay his trainer to give him a different drug than he thought he was buying?
Is he that stupid?
Or, as Yankee fans can attest, is he that lazy that he took the easiest way possible?
I agree, I think this opens up the Mets options, big time.
I think they bring in Bauer and another big name player.
Leo was always right about Cano from 10 years ago. Is Leo still alive ?
Chapman hearing was finished today. His suspension was dropped to two games(down one game from three).

The #Yankees have made it clear that bringing back 2B D.J. LeMahieu is their top priority. As the negotiations grind on it’s also evident that LeMahieu preference is to return to the Bronx Bombers. #OnlyMatteroftime #$$$$
