The Yankees mourn the loss of Hall of Fame pitcher Phil Niekro, who won his 300th game with us in 1985. We send our condolences to his family & loved ones.
Phil Niekro joined the Yankees when he was 45 (!) and he went 16-8 with a 3.09 ERA in 32 games (!!!)
He won 121 games after the age of 40!

I hope it was obvious I meant to say Yanks would not finish above .500 in 2021 if they trade those 4 and possibly not for several years thereafter, so no eggnog (but I think I may tonite!)
