I have zero problem with Bauer's dating comments. I find absolutely zero misogyny in his comments or behavior. It's a clear cut definition of what he wants. He does not want any emotional investment or to have any element of commitment.
If you and I were discussing this topic and If I said to you, my 3 rules about dating are that, I want no attachments and will not deal with any emotional aspects of a relationship. Rizzo is a fantastic player. I have wanted him on the Yankees for a few years. He is a GG first baseman and a great Lefty, hitter. I think he's an easy 35 hr guy at YS without trying to change his style, so he'd still be a low K guy who can't hit the ball all over the field.Quote:

The press, because of the high profile of the women that he primarily dated and his own high profile, talked about his private life on their own. Bauer is a great pitcher, he also is extremely outspoken on controversial issues, openly trolls other players, teams or anything he sees is open season. Completely just my opinion but i would be very surprised if the Yanks seriously considered signing him to a long term deal.
