Right? Sanchez is a super star who just had a bad year. Hit 30 + in 2017. He hit 18 in about half a season in 2018 and then hit 33 in 2019

This off season is boring. Where is the dude who had "sources" that told him we were signing Harper, Machado, and trading for Trout? I mean, he was full of it, but he provided some entertainment when we most needed it.
How dare all of us for not having "sources" within the Yankees organization.
Did I say this off season is boring? I mean, Cashman hasn't even re-signed Gardner yet. Even that would allow ten or twenty posts condemning the resigning and calling for Cashman's termination. Entertaining.
We need Eeyore back. He was entertaining in a "screw the world, I'm going to jump off a building because the team I don't watch isn't making the moves I want to see them make (for players I will never see play because I don't watch the games)."
Did I say this off season is boring?
Sanchez getting a contract or getting released? Mlb network ranked him as the 5th best catcher in baseball yesterday. Anyone else believe that or are they way off?
Imo i think they'd be crazy just to give him away for nothing. I think they bring him back but he won't be guaranteed the starters job.
Also I was told Yesterday that the idea of bringing. Molina to NY would be to mentor Sanchez and to help focus on developing our young pitching. Not many guys that have that kinda experience behind the plate like Y Molina does
One piece of good news, Kratz has said he would be very interested in coming back as a coach, which I think would be a no Brainer. Former catchers seems to make the best future managers. I'd love to see Kratz move up the ladder and eventually get a shot. We all know Boone isn't going to last forever
And I'm a pass on needing Eeyore back. There are about 20 people he's driving away with his bs that need to come back. Sadly I think that ship may have sailed

Yankees are planning to tender Gary Sanchez a contract today. And happy birthday Gary!
But he's a super star because of the HRs he hit, right? You and your long ball, boner must love the fact that Sanchez can hit 30+ hrs. Even this year, he hit 10 in only 49 games. He would have easily hit 25 if he played in 130.
So by your rational, he's a super star.

one season to much for d.j who will be 33 next year at some point age will start to take it's toll on him.. and at 22 million a year it will be a costly mistake...
