Also, I haven't seen his name mentioned once, but if the Yanks can't land Lindor I would take a shot on Marcus Semien for SS. Great defensively with a lot of offensive upside if you believe in his 2019 season. I think you at least get an average offensive player who will take walks and has some pop in his bat with great defense at SS.
slugging down ops down batting average down only had 22 rbis ,, in a full season he would have had only in the 70's in rbis.. he is 34 next year don't sign a a aging player to a 3 year contract does not end up well.. also in a big playoff spot brantley failed in game 7 vs tampa.. plus i like to finally give frazier the job.. why are the yanks afraid to do that? frazier proved he could be a full time starter in the outfield ...

Stanton would only be DH. So My guess is his shelf life would be slightly longer, of course, we can never rule out him hurting his shoulder while tying his shoe.
We'd have Tauchman, so you could stick him in RF and make Clint the DH or use Ford? Maybe a guy show up to ST and gets on the roster for his bat. Gittens?
Then again, my scenarios is so fantasy driven and money is no object so we could just sign someone to sit on the bench. Your choice
