I'm just trying to figure out if the Republicans are ballsy enough and cocky enough to go after Social Security if they get a 6-3 super majority of their own. We know that the Voting Rights Act will be gone for sure along with any meager protections workers already had.

Uhh if anything this will bring those Republicans on the fence who can't stand Trump and would either sit out or were at least undecided on Biden to foresurely vote Trump. Now there's a pretty important reason to vote Trump.

Question: What if they don't sit a new judge, and there's challenges after the election due to mail in voting and it's a tie 4-4. Who decides? Or is that an actual Constitutional crisis?

I hope we keep our border closed long after Covid and this election. If Trump gets this judge and if he wins the election there's going to be an exodus to Canada :laugh2:

That is a small minority of voters. Besides Trump will get his nominee through even if he loses since they will just approve him in the lame duck session. Trump won by 75k votes. Trumpist act like he won by a landslide. Trump is doing worse with every major group than last time. Republicans already have the SC, liberals will come out in masses. I doubt the Lincoln project will suddenly start advocating for Trump because there is a SC opening. Trump can still win the election but he better play a royal flush because anything else he loses. Either way things just drastically improve for Dems to win back the Senate. Collins is done if she comes out and supports a vote because then Roe V Wade will be gone and she will lose if she opposes a vote because Trump voters will not vote for someone who isn't supporting Trump's nominees. Dems will win Colorado and Arizona, they would only need 1 more assuming Biden wins and Tubby wins in Alabama.
