The more I watch Mize the more I don't think he will be an ace. Looks more like a #3/#4 guy so far. He also doesn't look ready to be up but thanks to covid here we are. Still really early so no need to panic or give up on him. He needs more time to learn to pitch and facing the best offenses in the majors isn't helping.
Bonificio got robbed on his check swing, he clearly held up. More importantly, Fulmer didn't suck. Most importantly, Daz getting a huge triple off a stud reliever in the 9th after getting the nod as a pinch hitter despite his whopping .037 BA was HUGE
Gardy showed confidence and it paid off, hopefully it helps out going forward
