I got pulled over about a month ago and let go with a warning. Previous to that, I had gotten a ticket every single time. I’ve come a long way. 😂

I used to own a gorgeous black 1998 Cadillac Deville D’Elegeance, with the tinted windows and the shiny rims, etc. I got pulled over at least a dozen times in the couple years I owned it. The cops did frequently let me off without a ticket but that’s because I was pulled over for benign things like failing to use a blinker when pulling up to a curb in a residential neighborhood (not joking).
I sold it and got a 2000 Honda Civic and was pulled over twice in the ensuing 6 or so years I owned it.
Must have been a coincidence!
blacks are "targeted" because of the cyclical nature of their communities. There is more crime within them, due to all sorts of factors outside their control (being poor, locked up, uneducated, etc). Cops are simply following statistics, and that leads to human nature changing. If you are walking down the street, and see a young black man with baggy pants, and across the street is a young white man with a tshirt and cargo shorts, which one are you keeping your eye on? It becomes human nature to trust statistics, even if those statistics are lacking massive amounts of context. And furthermore, cops are generally assigned the same areas of patrol, so as they learn their black neighborhoods, they think/act from personal experience. Just like you do.
All in all, being a beat cop in a tough black neighborhood will force you to live with assumptions that may be generalized, but in your little pocket of the world, a reality. A cop on patrol in Plymouth, MN is much different than a cop on patrol in parts of Memphis for example.
But yes, blacks are targeted in urban areas without a doubt. They are stopped, poked, prodded, and given the shortest leash possible when cops engage them. Ask a black man what they feel when lights go on behind them while driving. It will shock you.
it's more so about what levels of engagement we allow. Cops have WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much leeway when it comes to being aggressive. Most of the time I see a black guy run from them, or resist, it turns into this power struggle, all over something incredibly harmless. Cops are drilled into thinking any question of authority must be met by asserting their force and will. It's crazy how much violence they end up causing that would never had occurred, if they were to just let things go many times.
I'm calling ******** here. You've led a pampered and provided life. And you're all up in here acting like you've been a whiteness to not only a black person running from the police that turned into a struggle, but multiple altercations describing this. Your a lair man. At this stage, you're nothing more than a DB clone making **** up.
