What does "targeted" mean? I'd say few people of any race are targeted by law enforcement if a felony isn't being done. I refuse to believe that 99% of cops(multiple races in police forces BT) leave home and tell the wifey that they can't wait to go out on the street and "target" their allotment of black, Hispanic, Asian, or Slavic people.

Secondly, not everyone who acknowledges these factors is experiencing white guilt. I'm just more aware of it because i've seen my friends of different races go through many of these same things. First hand too. Like when a Hispanic friend of mine was pushed up against the wall on a Brooklyn street by cops because he matched the description of someone who had committed a burglary in the area or the countless times I used to take the A line to school with a black friend of mine and the only bag that was searched in those stop and frisk stationed off areas was his. Or how he was pulled over (with me in the car) driving through a ritzy Long Island town because he had a brand new Mercedes and the cop's first question was "Is this your vehicle?".

Those interactions happen everyday in this country as well.

Normally, felons need to be arrested. Do you disagree with arresting felons? Do you disagree that blacks commit more felonies on a percentage than whites or any other racial category? Should a cop not arrest people based on their skin color? BLM seems to think that way. That mob who harrassed the Hispanic lady who almost was killed by a black guy who shot up her apartment felt that way. They didn't care that the woman's son was almost hit by a bullet.

I doubt very much teh "frequently" part of your statement. There certainly are bad cops . So what else is new? Bad people exist in every job in the world. But how do you think a pair of cops would go about targeting a specific racial group for arrest?

Or do you think that in the briefing before cops go to their assigned duties, that the squad leaders tell them what the racial make-up for their arrests need to be?

Or is it something else like a woman calling 9-11 and reporting a guy spraying bullets into her apartment. When asked for a description of the shooter, the woman says a black guy with a hand-gun. Is that racial profiling or targeting a racial group?

They're disproportionately targeted due to the color of their skin, and are disproportionately found to be innocent of said crimes down the road.


They don't literally commit more. NO. That is the entire point. It is a systemic issue that leads to them getting arrested more.
