In my (hypothetical) town wearing a cowboy hat or cowboy boots are illegal. In my town, flying the confederate flag or having any displays with the confederate symbol are illegal. In my town it is illegal to listen to country music. In my town, it is illegal to drive a pickup truck. In my town, it is illegal to not season your food. In my town, it is illegal to own stocks. In my town, it’s illegal to Vote Republican or for Donald Trump.

Now, which town do you think will do better at keeping out white people?

I have a question to. If my tall, white, good looking, upper middle class self unjustly dies at the hands of the law outside my nice little home is the officer more likely to face consequence then if he had killed a black guy in a poorer neighborhood?

Because there are no longer laws in place to hold down black people. And most of the actions once committed freely by racists are now illegal.
