Exactly. It tells you they don’t have any problem with police gassing peaceful protestors.

The part about this one that bugs me a bit is that police all over the country have been using similar tactics on peaceful protesters but this one is getting a ton of extra coverage because Trump, more coverage than other worse behavior by police.
Trump Trumps and Trumps and the media jumps to yell TRUMP. Trump wins again. Twas it ever thus.
Ever been exposed to tear gas and smoke grenades??? Although both look the same, there is a world of difference.
Smoke grenades do not necessarily make you move. It is bearable. With tear gas, you move.
But you are avoiding the original point…do you think the police just walked out and shot these grenades and bullets or did they ask the "peaceful" protestors to leave (probably multiple times). And who do you think became aggressive first??? The police or the "peaceful" protestors.
Bottom line with all this stuff, regardless as to what city you are in, if the police ask you to move along, you should move along.
How come we never hear about bad behavior by the protestors.
Former police chief killed in St Louis
300 police injured in NYC
numerous police injured around the country
police precinct burned down
policeman run over in NYC
looting and fires across the US
Does any of that qualify as bad behavior or are we supposed to "understand" it???
Just wondering.
Imagine if you got this riled up about people who are given the legal power of life and death abusing that power to kill people. Because each of those things that you point out, there are countless more examples of the police doing those things.
The police have injured FAR more than 300 people.
The police have destroyed (I don't know that they've explicitly burnt things) plenty of people's property and stolen (asset forfeiture anyone) even more.
The police in NYC ran over how many people this year?
Again asset forfeiture is just a fancy way of saying legalized looting.
We don’t hear about that? We’ve heard nonstop about it. Half the arguments in here were trying to get people to differentiate between the rioters/looters and the peaceful protestors.
Which speaking of, here you are trying to lump everyone in together to vilify them. What does what the protestors in St. Louis or NYC have to do with this specific incident?
We’re these specific protestors peaceful and did the police gas them?
If I plop myself down in one of you classrooms and just play music loudly disrupting your class, would you just allow me to sit there or call the campus police??? If I refuse to move and they drag me out kicking and screaming, would that be OK or would you stand up for my right to protest???
Any thoughts from the pro-cops side on this one?

Why did the armed black man get perceived as a threat by this officer down in Alabama? And why was the reporting blocked on it until just now?
