There is a lot of power and responsibility that comes with law enforcement and not all are worthy of being entrusted with it. The majority of cops are good people, but psychopaths can become cops too.
The officer with his knee on his neck is a psychopath who was ready to abuse his power without hesitation. Judging by his casual body language, he has abused his power many times prior to this incident. He was capable of committing murder under the guise of law enforcement and it was going to happen, whether to George Floyd or someone else. He should be tried, convicted, and sentenced, as well as the pieces of **** who stood by and watched.

My bet is this time, at minimum the officer kneeing Floyd will face charges. He has to.
Exactly what charges the other 3 would or should face is a question.
Regardless, as bad as that situation was, committing your own crimes...looting, property damage...isnt justified either.

Then replace "free coffee" with "letting someone off a ticket against regulations" or any number of escalating common cop activities where the rules were written by lawyers and all the police at every level ignore them, and often to the benefit of the public.
Then we have the behavior by police that is trained and encouraged like entrapment and targeting people for fines, property seizures, and using over the top physical responses all within policy that are far worse in my opinion. Those things are not even the blue line, there is nothing to report. There is nothing to punish.
I had a friend who bought some papers, got pulled over as he left the store, the police searched his car, found the papers, found "too much cash", then asked if the address on his license was correct, he said yes though it wasn't his address, it was his parents address. The found a bunch of pot "residue" in his car, concluded he was a drug dealer (he was, just pot, and just his friends), and tried to seize his parents house, cars, all their belongings, etc. A lot of the police' worst behavior is not only legal, it's supported all the way up to the top in DC.
These guys don't have enough power though. I don't think anybody above them will put their *** on the line to protect them.Quote:

with this story, I think Candace Owens has a point. there is often a lot of media/social media attention on these type of incidents where race was a factor or not, but not much attention to what she is talking about.
