Economic opportunity would go miles further than education. Economic opportunity would really address the root, meaning temporary investment that should soon begin to carry itself, then soon begin to give back to the community at large.
Win win.

Trump banning flights from China was a good move as it would have decreased spread, however his motivation was not the virus, his motivation was his trade war. I still give him his due, that move could have helped delay things maybe a week. Regardless, his ineptitude from that point forward would have resulted in an outbreak either way, as he was basically missing from there forward and showed complete lack of comprehension of what is going on in his country.
The muslim ban once it went through was AFTER he was unable to get his bigot ban passed and so it was his compromise. But in all the time leading up to it basically the whole.right and even a lot of the left was pretty much on board with that bull **** they would.never support against their own identity.

McCain was a racist? He called out his own supporter when she called Obama an Arab. This current ****ing lunatic won’t go that far when people claim Kamala wasn’t born here and demanded Obama’s birth certificate.
Your Mexico take is ridiculous. Most of the people coming here work and contribute to society. He called out rapists and murderers and said “and SOME...I assume are good people”. Just stop it. He’s been on an anti Mexican tirade because he knows his base loves it. And that’s one instance of one group.
You can’t honestly look at McCain and Romney and think Trump is no different.
It doesn’t matter, I don’t want to get lost in that debate. Your point remains. There is always exaggeration for gain by partisan hacks right or left.

Quick acting like you care about that with this whimsical bs, that one day a candidate will run on that. It's being forty years, dude. It ain't going to happen. Nobody is going to raise up out of the ether and solve this problem. You are smart enough to now that so spare me this nonsense.I’m not being whimsical. I’m being sarcastic. Donald Trump entire campaign in 2016 was centered around building a wall. He was called racist. You remember?Quote:
Now that the Joey who down plays other views that counters his own that republican's crap don't stink and a black/liberal viewpoint is mumbo jumbo. Pure tribalism.
throw more money at the problem? The problem is the money was removed from these social service thus crippling them. How about we remove money from the police and defense program what would happen? I am going to assume you aren't going to be obstue about it and answer they wouldn't be able to do their jobs as well. It same damn thing when you remove money from education and social services. that is just common sense with no mumbo jumbo ideology attach to it.
And it’s not tribalism to suggest your viewpoint (not the black viewpoint) is liberal mumbo jumbo. Because it is a typical liberal viewpoint. Black people continuing to vote for democrat candidates when their policies have failed the black communities is tribalism.
The US spends more per student than most other countries. We spend twice as much per student than we did in 1970, when I agree, there was hope in poor communities. The reason these communities lose hope is because crime continued to sky rocket (hitting its peek in the 90s) and teachers lost interest in teaching in high crime areas. It also makes it difficult on students to learn in an area in which crime/murder is so prevalent. This is just reality. I don’t use black on black violence other than to say that races typically kill within their same race. It’s applies to white people as well.
The problem in these communities is about a bad culture. It’s not racism. If it’s racism, than why do Asians and Jewish people fair better than white people in this country? We here the term white supremacy all the time. But if America is a white supremacy country, we suck at it. Because other races/ethnicities other than black or Latino fair better than white people in the US. And those ethnicities have had hardships as well in the past. Continuing to vote for candidates who cater to this ideal is a major issue.
More murdering cops and this time the suspect and the cops are black: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/14/u...ce-murder.html
One is moved to desk duty.....yeah that’s an appropriate move.
The system needs an overhaul. It’s this aggressive mentality and lack of quality training and then protection when things go terribly wrong.
Being “slow to comply” is not a death sentence.
Yes. McCain was called a racist. Someone wrote a book about it ffs...
The fact is, the Mexican border is a problem. It doesn’t matter if “most” or “some” are good, hardworking people. If they came here illegally, it’s wrong. It’s wrong because people from countries who don’t border the US need to wait in line and can’t just walk across a border. Don’t those people matter too?
There is no "Muslim Ban." There is a restriction on immigrants from several countries that are Muslim. So it is a restriction in those countries and not Muslims per se.
One point that is often (intentionally???) over looked…85% of the Muslims in the world live in countries that are not banned from coming to the US.
Not that this will change anyone's mind.
HA HAAA. Race aside since you are now going to compare blacks with other ethnic groups, who by the way are turning on the republican party. Republican's race slamming, I am use to it and it suits you well. I wouldn't join a party who gave us Reagan, who said there were no racial problems in America when he was a kid and supported segregation in the south with his state right stance, and the Vietnam war, George W. who started America endless war policies by attacking an innocent country, and now a sexual predator as president and a racist. Your party doesn't have an f ing leg to stand on when it comes to race or being good for the nation as a whole. I don't like either parties or liberals who don't vote on their principle but to listen to your rambling bs keep reminding me why I hate the republican party and some of their members. Your party isn't even true conservatives or good Christians like y'all pretend to be.
Just look at the republican members in congress, pre-dominately white males. Yup, a racially, gender open party that reflects this country. It is becoming the all white male party. Why is that Joey? Why isn't other ethnic groups represented in your party or seek to run as a republicans if the democrat are so bad? It is because the republicans don't support their community or ethnic issues. If you were selling a good product you wouldn't have any problem getting buyers.
They don't even believe in science when it comes to climate change or how to handle this pandemic, and after all this you are trying to demonize another party when yours stink just as bad if not worse.
George W. and Trump, two of the worst president in modern history. What is next? Are y'all going to support a Q' annon candidate for president? Making me miss Sarah Palin already.
But, hey keep up the race slamming, it makes you so endearing and republicanist.
As to how much this government spends on it's citizens, it has been proven that we are extremely wasteful in that spending. We spend more for health care then other europeans country but our citizens get less medical care then the eruopeans.
The status quo isn't going to alienate the police force when they are going to need them more and more to keep the peons in line. You think these protests and riots are bad now, just wait to the full effect of court order evictions happen just before we get deeper in this recession. I love how congress decided to go on vacation as all this is coming down.
I guess it is a good thing that the government has been militarizing their police force over the last decade. Or they could label the protesters as terrorist so homeland security can be involved. Already they felonize some form of protest and restriction on how or whom they protest against. All most like they were preparing for more social uprest.
