The kicking and standing on the man after shooting him makes it pretty open and shut, felony murder
Jesus I think I almost gave Sluggo a coronary

This is what you said…………
Typical Sluggo: he dehumanizes the protestors (creatures) and when asked about the specific problems he has the very first one he points out is financial in nature (the CHAZ zone’s impact on businesses).
Sluggo: money > people. Every time.
What is the point that you are making that I do not refute lol???
Spell it put for me.
I wouldn't bet on it is all I am saying. Grant you, last Jan. I would have given Trump a fifty-fifty chance, but events are flying away from him as it did for Jimmy Carter with the oil embargo and the hostage situation. Add the fact that Trump isn't nimble enough to change his strategy when needed, I don't think he will win. It could happen, but the odds are against him.
You said I didn’t get your point and then proceeded to question why anyone would have a problem with you calling them creatures.
You said I didn’t get it and then proceeded to give me a financial breakdown to the businesses as a result of this.
My point were you dehumanize people and only care about the financial side and your response was to justify dehumanizing then and explaining the financial side lol
No, they intended to commit a felony (assault) and it resulted in a death. No intention to kill is needed.
So, if it is proven they intended to commit assault (his partner is testifying that they did), then the conviction will automatically jump to felony murder.
Man, that is a rough road to walk. You had to be her angel in need. My mom got slight elderly dementia which will get worse over time. No matter how hard it is for me and my wife to take care of her, it is ten times harder for her to go through it. I would whether die with my boots on then go through that. She will be 88 yrs old in July.
The mental health agency has been cut to the point that they just drop poor mentally ill people on the street with no medication or help. It is a shame. These cops can't handle it so we must seek alternative policies to cope with them. They aren't going away.
I used to play quite a bit of poker. Several times a week when I was in the army. Overseas, there wasn't much else to do, so a few guys played all the time. If you're in the service overseas in a war zone, you don't have much need fo money so if you lost a lot, you still had 3 free meals and no living expenses. I was fairly good at it and (no one will believe this) I deferred pay for the last six months over seas and was discharged with several thousand $$$ in my pocket.
We never played Hold-Em…it wasn't popular at the time. We did play all forms of poker (dealer choice) 5,7 Card stud, Draw, Draw with various degrees to win or open, other colorful games based on poker etc. Wild card games were not allowed. 3 raise limit, no check and raise, no picking up checks. Friendly games, couple of fights.
Biggest pot I ever won was several hundred dollars in a 7 Card stud game (no on will believe this either). I was dealt three 10s (2 down obviously). Cards are dealt, game progresses, two guys are working on full houses that they must have had 2 pair early and another guy is working on a flush. One guy dropped out. With the last card coming, I've seen 15 cards exposed and none pf them are the case 10, so I feel like it's out there. Last card down I get the 10. The two full houses and the one flush came thru so we have 4 guys with strong hands and I can tell by what I see that I can't be beat. Everyone else thinks I have a straight at best and why am I still there. So everyone is betting and raising right into me. Unbelievable hand. Never happened again.
Highest hand I ever had was a straight flush to the jack (clubs, I think) and won squat as other hands had little and no one would raise. I beat two low pair with a powerhouse hand and got little. Poker is funny like that.
Also had a monthly group back in NYC playing the same type of games but for lower stakes. Nickel, dime, quarter type of games where you couldn't lose too much…married guys, families, jobs, debt etc. Different frame of mind. More of a "get away from the wife" type of night than a "make $$$ from poker" night.
I tried the Hold-Em game but the groups I sat with played the same game all night long and I didn't really care for that. Plus they all tried to be TV characters with the lingo, the dudes, the stare etc. Seemed a little silly.
Can you agree that there are some people out there that we would be better off without???? Like if they went away it would be addition by subtraction??? This that I have seen in CHAZ or CHOP and at a lot of these lootings fit thsat bill in my opinion.
Can you agree that have ing successful businesses in the community is more beneficial to the people in the community than the typical residents of CHAZ or CHOP or a lot of these looters??? Would you rather have decently run, profitable business in your community (providing hundreds of jobs and thousands of tax $$$) supplying products and services to the residents or would you rather have the CHAZ or CHOP crowd roaming about in some sort of hazy stupor???
