Any proof of this or this just another pulled out of your *** statement that you will now claim you don't have enough time to find a citation for?
I'm going to guess the latter.

You know in the same video he's told this and he turns and runs away right? Did you watch an edited down version of the video or are you purposely being dishonest here?
And again. For the 50th time. When a cop tells you to freeze and show your hands. You don't turn around.
It's like I live in an alternate reality.
I highly doubt that there are many cops if any that receive assault charges for this. Probably a civil suit.
Like... ya'll are dumb lol.
I'm sorry. But no one here is saying cops should treat every suspect as if they committed murder.
These people were shooting at cars. They weren't innocent civilians minding their own business.
I'm for a massive police reform. But holy hell.
You guys seem to think this was a casual stop or something. Like this was someone who ran a stop sign and the cop came in ultra aggressive.
Just stop talking about this subject because you are actually damaging the case for reform every time you share your very naive opinion.
I'm not gonna lie, the biggest phonies here are the liberals that are clearly trying to reggirgitate opinions they've heard but clearly don't understand.
Hence why you got people compare this to a traffic stop gone wrong, where a cop is way too aggressive from the start.
The majority of the deaths from cops are from traffic stops. When they come up to the window they don’t know who’s behind the wheel or what act those people just committed before.
I remember a good friend of mine who was a cop who was 21 was shot and killed. He attempted to pull over a car who happened to be involved in a car jacking and murder 60 miles north. The cop tried to stop them the guy pulled over and started firing at the cop and ended up killing him. The guy was also killed about the same time but a traffic stop turned deadly just like that.

Cases like we’ve seen here in Chicago and Minnesota are very rare also
Snyder’s killing, as documented in interviews and police reports, is among the 800 fatal shootings by police so far this year. As the tally continues to grow, so does public debate and criticism over police use of deadly force.
But only a small number of the shootings — roughly 5 percent — occurred under the kind of circumstances that raise doubt and draw public outcry, according to an analysis by The Washington Post. The vast majority of individuals shot and killed by police officers were, like Snyder, armed with guns and killed after attacking police officers or civilians or making other direct threats.
You just hear about them because of the media. You don’t hear about the other times that cops potentially saved a bunch of lives or any of the good that they do

So we should pretty much take guns away during traffic stops? Makes no sense

We should definitely have less traffic stops though.
But I completely agree. As I said earlier in the thread if this kid turned around and shot this cop and killed him no one here would care.
If you've seen 100 videos that show examples of police brutality but 0 in regards to cops experiencing brutality. You aren't going to have a realistic viewpont.
I'm 100% behind police reform. I'm 100% behind police accountability when they make agregious errors or straight up commit crimes while on duty. I want guys who consistently escalate situations fired. I want guys who use unnecessary force in prison.
But I'm not for this BS where we pretend every time someone gets shot by a cop, the cop is at fault for it getting to that point.
If someone finds the video they should post it. But I just watched Pat Robertson bash the police.
Either that or I'm having an acid flashback.
Nah, I came across that somewhere recently. Either here or Twitter, I believe.

Sure but... come on man. It's also because it doesn't get national news coverage.
The point is that it's easy to look at a situation like this after the fact and pretend like the cop is way out of bounds.
The right wing tries to paint cops as these heroes that risk life and limb everyday which is stupid.
But there are days they do. And it'll happen in a split second.
