Most of us a very much aware of this (or they have been ignoring the many posts on this very subject in another thread).
Her situation sucks — and I am sure she is not alone — and people like her deserve to be looted no more than others deserved to be murdered. But it is simply one more unfortunate illustration of how the system is so completely out of whack, especially for those on the margins.
I've never understood who Scott is and when he got free....or for that matter understood why Murphy made a law................but, I highly doubt the other 3 get off scottfree, it's just taking some time to work thru WHAT each's charges would be, the same kind of due diligence that resulted in 4 days before the first guy was arrested. One of those officers was a rookie and I'm not sure how actively they were involved or how helpless they felt during the incident....not suggesting they did nothing criminal, just not sure in their case.
It's scot free, with origins in Scandinavia and means you don't have to pay your taxes.
Supposedly the 4 days to arrest the one cop had to do with following procedures required to arrest a cop and not get the case thrown out. Seems odd.
The other 3 cops are being considered as equally guilty by most it seems. I have no idea what their involvement was other than their presence. If they did wrong they should be punished.
I could be here all day posting many tweets to support Antifa is violent domestic terrorists.
whatever "Antifa" history was in any other country doesn't make up/change/counter what Antifa has been doing in America. it's well documented and still some people want to ignore it.
Right, so you totally didn't get the point.
Someone saying "Antifa" is equal to "Anti-Facist" is the same as someone saying "Nazi" is equal to "National Socialist party" was actually in support of your point. Then we move on to the problem area where you are cherry picking twitter posts that don't represent "the media" and acting like they are significant.
I guess I knew it was scot not scott...didn't know of Scandanavian origin, but of course I was just being facetious
Yes, extra procedures are necessary for law enforcement because they are allowed leeways to enforce the laws that we aren't allowed under the law...while it can seem odd, it's necessary...what isn't is when they take that leeway to places it was never supposed to allow, as happened here. But, lawyers would still need to take extra care in putting these cases together or a good defense team would tear it apart.
I would think the other 3 would have varying levels of involvement, but that would be part of why the time to get thru what we know. I did find it interesting that (far as I saw) only 2 of their names were made public.
the same media that is often more supportive of Antifa? yeah lets use them.
Trump is against Antifa, and by default those with TDS (including media) that hate him are forced to be with Antifa. they can't allow themselves to see the violence and be against it.
it should be common sense to be against Antifa and their violence.
It’s not that black people need to stop acting “black.” In order for the stereotype that young black males are dangerous needs to go away, young black males need to stop killing each other.
Again, prejudice isn’t racism. Prejudice is about self protection. Racism is about holding another race down or believing one is better based on race. Prejudice can be overcome by any individual who is prejudged. Racism cannot. You are fine with stereotypes/prejudice, so long as you consider it to be positive. Everyone is. I’ve never heard a black man say “Stop being prejudice against black men in assuming we all have big d****.”
Asian people are smart in math.
Jewish people are good in business.
Black people are good athletically.
Why are we not fighting against these prejudices too? Stereotypes are typically based in some reality or factual information.
They obviously don’t apply to everyone of that race, creed, gender. And the negative ones can also be overcome fairly easily. Yes, other races need to be open minded about someone trying to not be a stereotype. If a black person wants to become a Dr. and someone says “you’re just a street thug” even though they have no record of violence/being a thug than that’s racism. For the most part though, I don’t believe that’s the case any more.
