Protesting is just beyond your comprehension.

Our leader's mindset is more about shutting down social unrest then relieving the cause of social unrest. Which was pretty evident by the events of the last week.
Very heavy on the order, and not so much of the law. It's like we're in the 60s or early 80s again. Literally have made no progress. And as bad as those Presidents were, at least they had ridges in their brains. Trump's just a neanderthalic version of them.
Good thing Democrats did everything in their power to make sure this guy, who isn't even 1/10th as coherent now as he was then, won the Democratic nomination! Big "Law and Order" guy!
Maybe he's evolved but man he walked and talked like a Republican so god damn frequently. Moderate Republicans who don't get sucked up into the reactionary right-wing culture war nonsense should be thrilled to vote for him. He's a capitalist to his core, tough on crime and as moderate as it gets.
Woo hoo!
Sorry. Biden rant over. I just can't help myself.
Oh, it goes back farther than that with the labor movement and to some extent the woman movement. If we really look at as a struggle between the have and the havenot, I will extend to the civil war were we had to pry blacks from the cold dead hands of the confederate's greed. These politicians with their donors' backers have always suppressed the poor for the rich gain. The rich have always corrupted our politicians. Biden cohorts are just following their professional creed. Now with no opposition (an FDR or TR), they are willing to run this country into the ground for a few coins.
I have an Indian (India) neighbor and a very good friend of mine that has gone through Buddhist and Shambhala traditional training. Great guy and I enjoy every conversation that I have with him. I'm going to paraphrase this because his exact words I forgot withing 10 minutes of our conversation, but what he said to me tonight was essentially:
The true nature of human beings is basic goodness and it's not a matter of talking yourself into believing that all is good or bad...you are genuine and good just as you are. It's the simple and direct appreciation of being alive that is common to everyone.
I love this guy.
I thought you were like super busy with your vacation?
I guess I must have been hallucinating when I saw you post something about going on vacation, not knowing what this thread would be like by the time you came back (as if you'd be away for a decent stretch of time), and needing a quick answer because of that.
Strange. I guess I should wait until the LSD wears off before addressing you in the future. My bad.
Are you saying the NYPD needs a budget equal to Ukraine's entire military spending to effectively handle these protests?
For starters, they could stop showing up with weapons of war and instigating violence. Also, an easy way to prevent these protests would be for them to stop killing people and to start holding police who can't effectively do their jobs accountable. Just a thought!!!
I asked a question.
are you one of the many confusing protesting with rioting?
I specifically said rioting, not protesting.
burning buildings is not protesting. looting is not protesting. violence and physically attacking people is not protesting. attacking police officers is not protesting. these are rioting and they happened, so my simple question was what should the police use when confronting these people.
when confronted with people that have their own home made weapons, what would be better for the police to gain control. this is what should happen, not allowing American businesses to burn, not allowing people to be harassed and attacked.
