Yes, we have a completely broken system, that doesn't make it a police state. Despite all the crap going on I can still go outside and say what I want and it's incredibly likely the police will care at all.

The prison for profit system primary architect is probably Joe Biden more than others. I don't know that he's a racist. Certainly Nixon appeared to be a racist and he did start the war on drugs to target black people (and white hippies) but he didn't start the prison for profit we have now.

We were close with the Tea Party, but then it was marginalized by the "liberal" media calling it a joke and calling it racist, and the money pushed out the people with principles and it went away.

Because the Tea Party was on the right and attacked by the left and infiltrated by the right. I didn't bring up the Tea party but I did faithfully point out that both sides helped corrupt it.
