Right. And your reasoning makes sense. It’s likely that in this case, and many others, the police officer makes a mistake and is poorly trained. That’s not a good excuse for what happened but many people are painting the picture that in every one of these cases the police officer is a hateful, racist, cold blooded murderer with an agenda. That simply isn’t true.
There are times where the cop is racist, there are times where the cop is poorly trained, and there are times where the cop is right. It just seems like now the agenda for some is to always assume it’s a race issue.
It's a race issue because of implicit bias in these peoples mind. The very same implicit bias a few posters in here have been defending.
That is systemic racism. That is what needs to end. If using not so perfect examples helps.end it, then so be it.

I’m am sure the grievance system in unions can provide unwarranted job protection at times. I’m am equally sure neither Joey nor Brewers knows more of it then they have the told by Rush Limbaugh types. The convenience of being a disciple

It's not a hill people are wanting to die on. It's been a problem for quite some time and he's just another notch on the bedpost. Everyone understands he's a piece of ****. But cops can't be shooting guys in the back multiple times, especially when they have him outnumbered. Call for back up if you need to. And even if he said he had a gun, which I never heard of he did or not, you absolutely can't shoot until you see a gun
If Kyle Rittenhouse had shot Jacob Blake, I probably wouldn't have bat an eye. But cops can't be doing this type of ****
I do not listen to rush Limbaugh and I don’t watch any news, including fox. I might catch a snip bit of Steven crowder on social media here and there but mostly old ****.
Unions, in general, protect their weakest members. It’s one of their main focuses. My time in a union was short lived, 5-6 years. But in that time I served as a shop steward for 4 or 5 of them. I never understood why the union wanted to protect older members and then it dawned on me... more seniority=higher wages=higher union dues. Pay the man....
No. I just don’t but the **** you’re selling. I see a problem with public sector unions. It’s something that can legitimately stop most of police protecting police and lack of training. Police should be constantly trained, but they aren’t. They are just lazy saps trying not to die until they get their pension.
I agree with Ewing, you often stop responding when I ask for actual evidence/facts backing up what you claim and you rarely respond to common sense issues with your takes. Ewing basically nailed your approach spot on even if you don't listen to others doing the same it is very similar.
If you see a legitimate problem explain it in depth like I said but if you just want to associate all unions with bad police unions due to the bad individuals within that's BS. Not everyone's experience is exactly like yours in all of your one off anecdotes/stories.
