what evidence is there that it was racist?
what did she say that was racist?
African American? so a description is now racist?
if some white male stranger said this to a woman alone in the park, no doubt she could be afraid.
Quote:
"Look, if you're going to do what you want, I'm going to do what I want, but you're not going to like it."
is the term thugs racist?
this from Obama during Freddie Gray situation in 2015..

Quote:
Obama stands by the term 'thugs,' White House says
Quote:
President Obama doesn't regret using the term "thug" in describing the violent rioters in Baltimore this week, spokesman Josh Earnest said Wednesday.
"Whether it's arson or, you know, the looting of a liquor store ... those were thuggish acts," Earnest said.
In discussing the riots Tuesday, Obama assailed the "criminals and thugs who tore up the place," and described them as a distraction from the real issues of police brutality.
No. You are not reading this right. Not surprised.
I'll try one more time.
The original point was made (so long ago, I forgot by whom) that the police always fall behind the "blue wall" and do not turn on each other.
I made the observation that no union employee will turn in another union employee. I widened that point to include people in common groups…employees, neighbors etc. People in groups do nit turn in (or "rat out" if you prefer) other members of that group. So the "Blue Wall" as annoying and wrong as it may be is not unusual.
Nowhere did I imply that any one group's duties come close to what police do. A baker's responsibility does not compare to a police officer's responsibility. (Probably not a candlestick maker either.)
Would you turn in an employee for stealing??? Or a student for cheating??? Or if an employee or student beat up another employee or student and management asked you what you know???? Would you answer them honestly???
Oh, is that why I make fun of her??? Because she is a "person of color"??? Yeah. What other possible reason could there be. It must be the ole "person of color."
Couldn't possible be that she hasn't she up about using an election for over three years, or the constant whining about disenfranchisement that doesn't exist, or the constant publicity she gets despite accomplishing nothing. Couldn't be that. Must be the ole "person of color" angle.
That was me in the Aubury thread. I used the gun task force as an example from Baltimore, and with that, we're not talking just beating someone up, cheating on a test. We're talking guys who committed crimes against the people. A small group of seven guys did that for over a decade without being prosecuted, and there are 2500 cops who stayed silent. What they did goes beyond any of the examples you are citing. We're actually up to 15 officers now, not seven.
And yes, I actually lost a best friend because we worked together, and he and his brother were complete asshats one day and made a scene after we had come back to work and I did not agree with it. His girlfriend put pressure on me as to why I didn't speak up for them, when the truth was they embarrassed me along with them. I do what's right, not convenient.
The guy that I was responding to seemed to think there was a difference between a Police office and a baker in the degree of importance.
This is what he said……
Am I reading this right, we're now comparing protecting our fellow employees when they murder someone to protecting our fellow employees when baking bread, cutting a piece of meat, or making a candle incorrectly?
I'm pointing out that employees not snitching on another employee is commonplace.
It just is. Right or wrong, it is commonplace.
It seems like many of you do not operate in the real world.
"All the time?" Get real here.
"Crime not to do so in some states" also very hard to prove a statement (accusation) that is never made.
I'm not saying it is right, it isn't. But employees will not snitch on other employees. I'm sure it happens sometimes, but it is a rarity.
I'd say no need to keep trying anymore, that is unless you enjoy going around in circles looking more foolish than the attempt before.
I turned in a fellow employee this week actually, an instructor that works for my company. I was in his course and he was putting the straight up answers to the course assignments in the Announcements section of the course. Cheating the system to make him look better.
You don't think neighbors ever call the cops on one another? You think if I watched an employee beat up another employee, I'm not going to give my honest response to the cops or HR? God you're as clueless as you are racist.
Bottom line if it affects me, I'm going to step in. If I'm a police officer, and one of my fellow officer's is doing something he shouldn't be doing while citizens are recording, hell yea I would step in. You think these guys who are probably suspended or already fired by now don't regret it? You think their families don't regret them not stepping in to do something?
This moron shows the dangers of the silly twittering.
The guy is the mayor of Petal, MS. Pop 10,400. And he has the ability to make a stupid post that wil go "viral" (if it hasn't already) and make a fool of himself in front of probably a hundred times the population of his town. And add fuel to the fire while he is giving an opinion that no one really cares about. No one gives a damn about what the mayor of Petal, MS thinks about anything.
Trump is the worst offender of this stupid twittering. His habit of just shooting off his thoughts several times a day is plain dumb and causes most of his grief.
Twitter is great for HS kids. They can all tell each other who broke up with who. No sane and responsible adult, especially someone in the public eye, should ever twitter. The world doesn't need to know everyone's every thought. Seems like it always does more harm than good.
Holy ****. America is just out of control. And the leader stokes the flames. If I were African-american, I would strongly consider getting the **** out of there. I used to be naive enough to think things were progressing and getting better, but it has become more evident that it actually appears to be going the other way. I'm not going to say it doesn't exist in Canada, but it's not like that.
Let's see if we can support your opinion…
Last two days……
I said the police were wrong and sided with Flloyd in Minneapolis
I said that stupid white girl in Central park was wrong and sided with the black birdwatcher
A few weeks ago…I sided with Arbrey in Atlanta when the two white idiots shot him
Further back……I was against how the police handled the black guy in NYC selling cigarettes and being placed in a choke hold (can't remember his name)
You see, I possess the ability to see and judge right from wrong. You see everything as color and race. (as in the second video you posted of Arbrey in his car being questioned by the police. The police did everything right [and respectfully and even let him off] yet you imply they are hassling him because of his race.)
So who really sees color here????
it is really a very small percentage that appear out of control......even in these protests, you'll note the more violent acts are by a minority of the protesters, and generally in late night/early morning hours when 'stupid' tends to surface more easily......and it's not like plenty of ALL races aren't fed up with this ****
Well, yeah.
Just like I support every president we've ever had.
I've said this several times…support the president unless he is wrong. In this case he is wrong. In many of his tweets he has been wrong. In many of his policies, he has been right.
The man in the office is a human being. He will make mistakes and he will institute policies I disagree with. But I support him as being the leader of our country.
Every four years, you can decide if he is worth keeping. Unfortunately this year it is between Trump and Biden. So in my opinion, Trump is worth keeping. Had the dems nominates someone else, my vote might have been different.
You come across as just being against the president because he is Trump and he is incapable of doing anything right. Pretty short sighted in my opinion especially since he will be there until November and there is nothing you can do about it until then.
You're right, he said disinfectant
"And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning?"
Doesn't help to hear comments like
"This is COVID-19, not COVID-1, folks. And so you would think the people charged with the World Health Organization facts and figures would be on top of that." from his own counselor.........umm, Kellyanne, it's Covid-19 for the year it surfaced, you'd think people in charge of the country would be on top of THAT.
