In some cases it’s acceptable to be prejudice. If you are walking down the street and in the same side is a group of white males with skin heads and Nazi tattoos but on the other side is a group old white ladies, will you cross the street? Of course you would.

The difference is most white people dont look, act and dress like Nazis. I’m not saying all black men look, act and dress like criminals but a good portion of inner city males do. It takes time for there to be a difference. It’s happening but it takes time.

I am a 60+ white Christian and there are SO many things many on the left assume to be true of 'the right', like we're all the same. from my end, I grew up and live again in an area with very few blacks, but many natives...but spent large chunks of my life in bigger cities. talked to a black friend of mine out west last night and he is highly disappointed with the chaos going on

now I just heard a protester in NYC say 'there are no good cops until there are no bad cops'.....well there is good and bad in every single group, so that will never happen.....treating ALL law officers like they're. the enemy will result in anarchy

I'm sure stealing that TV from target and burning down that innocent persons business will make it all better.

Associating things that are unique to skin head culture (white power tats for example) with skin heads is different then associating things that part of black culture with criminal culture. One is racist. Your basically saying I’m not racist im just scared of black people on sight most of the time

Most people do this though and not particularly with black people. Racism is different than prejudice. Racism is always bad. Racism is believing a minority can’t possibly be a good dr, lawyer, teacher, accountant, etc. Prejudice is our brain deciphering if a situation can be potentially dangerous. I’m Italian. I grew up around typical Italians. The types you see in mafia movies. When Italians look, dress and act a certain way, people typically associate them with the mob. Some of my family were mobsters. Some just dressed the part. They were all looked at the same way. My uncle was an accountant. You would think he just walked off The Godfather movie.

It’s no different with black people. When black people look, dress, and act like gang members, we unconsciously view them as dangerous. This is not racism. This is prejudice. This also passes with time.

If the vast majority of people dressing in a certain style are not criminals but you associate that style with dangerous criminals and treat them differently you are clearly being prejudiced. You should work on not doing this

My mother was an english teacher, I have that disease too. All these cops know they're being filmed and STILL do this. That's a systemic problem. They know they can get away with whatever, unless people start burning ****.

No dude. You’re old. If I saw a group of 20 y/o black guys that look like thugs/criminals around my car, yes the doors are getting locked. If I saw a group of 20 y/o bikers around my car, doors are getting locked.

I lock my car door when I think I'm in a situation that warrants it. That isn't because someone of a certain race is around, it's because I'm thinking of the safety of the ppl or security of the things inside it.

I'm sorry I see this thread and it's hard to juxtapose at the same time some of these officers police chiefs are the ones having productive conversations with protesters. Someone along the line of communication is giving bad orders.
