My mother was an english teacher, I have that disease too. When "myriad" showed up on my vocabulary list in middle school another kid, when they used it in a sentence, said "a myriad crayons" and the teacher corrected them and said "it's the same part of speech as 'many', it's just 'myriad crayons', not 'a myriad'", I replied that "myriad was literally used for 10000 soldiers, so if you meant a group of 10000 'a myriad' is correct". I lock my car door when I think I'm in a situation that warrants it. That isn't because someone of a certain race is around, it's because I'm thinking of the safety of the ppl or security of the things inside it.

I'm sorry I see this thread and it's hard to juxtapose at the same time some of these officers police chiefs are the ones having productive conversations with protesters. Someone along the line of communication is giving bad orders.
