I assume you similarly think that people that say "defund the police" are talking specifically about the salary individual officers make and nothing else, right? I don't even know why I'd need to phrase that as a question, since they actually mention the occupation; clearly that can only be what they mean.

That's a 'look at what was actually said'. He literally made a point to call out the professions and he literally linked it back to the current position vacancy in the teachers profession.

You may be talking about the system (because you feel the need to defend him), but he was 100% talking about the occupation.

I did. It's why I know "individual police officers are funded amazingly well by which I mean their salary and nothing else" isn't what he said.
