Certainly not more dangerous than cannabis too.
Have had Rage Against the Machine on heavy rotation for the last couple weeks. Killing in the Name of indeed.
total aside, but I really don't get Floyd's body being sent around the country and so many standing in lines for a viewing.....but then I never understood it for heads of state either, but at least ppl know them prior to death
There have been places that have done it and it doesn't lead to much in the way of increases in drug use for a couple of reasons. One is obvious. These places spend Waaaaaaaayyyyyyyy less on law enforcement and Waaaaaayyyyyy more on drug treatment. The second is funnier. People have this concept that drugs, especially the hard ones like heroin or methamphetamine are like god's vagina... and one little taste and you are going to love it. Truth is the vast majority of people that try drugs like these either have a "god this is awful... I'm vomiting" reaction, or a "what's the big deal about this... I'd rather just have a few beers," reaction. So in places were this stuff has been decriminalized (which is definitely the way to go... you could still lock up large scale dealers of the ****) there is a slight increase in the number of people trying drugs (especially in the beginning) but the vast majority of those folks do not go on to use regularly.
Also what's all this science behind not doing drugs? just asking cause I'm literally a scientist who studies drugs.
I been listening to a bit of them as of late too. Slumped "The Ghost of Tom Joad" to start my day today. Killer non-album track (well until they later included it on the Renegades album).
