COVID-19 Response: An issue that shouldn't be at all political....yet here we are

I agree with what you have said here. The vaccines passed all of the international testing that they were subjected to. They work. I had Covid early in the pandemic and got vaccinated as quickly as I could. I have had my 2 Pfizer shots and 2 Pfizer boosters. I have remained Covid-free since then, having worked with Covid+ patients as I needed to.
The vaccines are not "worthless".

Vaccine mandates are also not a reason for healthcare worker shortages as was suggested by mr. cry some more

They typically account for a percentage of a percentage of shortage. So they can probably be blamed for 0.01% at best. A rounding error of a rounding error. The conditions on the ground sadly account for the vast majority of the shortage. Far too many people needing far too few peoples' help. Facilities with 50-100 patients and MAYBE having 1-2 nurses staffing the facility. That is setting them up for failure no matter what they do.

Yeah, that's the sad reality. What's even more sad is that the GQP don't live in reality. They live in the world of "alternative facts".
