So your beliefs are more important than other people’s business/livelihood/communities they are a part of and that should give churches/your beliefs special treatment....

Alright you can have that opinion but it’s just your opinion about mattering more than others in order to receive special treatment which is what others were getting at earlier

The funny and, frankly sad, thing is that the Supreme Court ruling — though limited to the specific case in New York — would by further application appear to favor his position (not, however, for the same reasons he and SiteWolf have thrown up against the wall).

That’s been my main issue is scotus seemingly taking that stance as well. I don’t care that people have different opinions but when they are based on “my beliefs/wants more important than yours” you can normally just say everyone feels that way and move on. SCOTUS jumped in here which is new/the issue for me (and going against previous rulings).

Yes when there is no reason to restrict people.other than you don't want it categorized as essential, then yes obviously I think that.

I never said it was more important, I said it is in a clearly different category than other businesses. You said to give you a legitimate reason and I gave you one. Now you have nothing to say...

It's called CNN and NBC. If there was no atheist agenda then you would have no issue with churches safely opening. Again, if it's about safety then it's about spread. If churches can operate without spreading then there is no need to further limit how they operate. I already gave an example of my mosque.

For anyone to know what protocol my mosque follows and still wants it closed, well it's not science, if you're telling me it's not an atheist agenda then what is it?

The funny thing is you guys are sitting here saying even if a church can operate safely as an essential.business you don't want them to.

Why does that nomenclature matter so much to you? That's why I recognize this as an agenda.

Maybe you missed my tweet above that shows how the cases are escalating and why the restrictions are more important than ever. No religious service is essential. No matter how much someone wants to go.

That is an opinion you have, great. Like I said many people out there feel their business or group activity has certain value that may differ than others/be more essential to them. You think you feeling this way should lead to special treatment even if not for others.

I was looking for a science based reason or anything more than just opinion on why they should get that special treatment. That’s yet to be provided.

I don’t care that people have opinions their favorite business or activity should be labeled essential. It’s just not a very strong argument if that’s the main case imo. Everyone can make it about theirs too

Nasty this has been covered, the issue is special treatment. All businesses that may be safe can’t just open because they fit your view. Your opinion on what’s safe isn’t relevant to the case at hand.

Ny has rules in place and churches want special treatment to get a label other similar activities don’t get. The argument they should and others shouldn’t receive this is apparently “nasty and sitewolf think it should be that way”.
