Yeah, because the virus came from the US and the lying US military/media/government complex.
I’ll be honest: I find it really hard to worry too much about anyone who — for whatever reason — ingests or injects (much less administers to another) disinfectant. And doubly hard if that person does it based on what the president said (though, in his defense, he did not directly advocate that course of action).
Priceless. Here’s another:

I suspect that we (the US) and most of the EU countries have the most accurate numbers to offer at this point and that the devastation is much greater than being reported around the world (in large part because many countries do not have the resources to tally quickly, much less confirm the cause of death effectively).
A friend of mine from Mexico City indicated (anecdotally) that the local gravediggers are saying that there have been way more deaths than have been reported. I’d have to imagine that is true in Sao Paulo.
Makes sense.

If you actually read my posts you would see that my point is that you are making pointless petty arguments. And you have to take the scale of a misstatement into account. We all misspeak and even misrepresent from time to time and politicians are worse than most. Trump is the Mike Trout/Michael Jordan/Tom Brady of misspeaking and misstating. And just like Tom Brady gets more press about his ability than Marcus Mariota, Trump is gonna get a lot more press about his lies and ******** because of scale.
You should really read through posts before you comment. In fact you should go back and re-read my posts and tell me if you can see where I said multiple times Pelosi deserves to be criticized.
....but Pelosi has a freezer full of ice cream DAMMIT!
Only a 20 minute Covid briefing today and no questions. Geez I wonder why?
Let’s never forget!
this doesn't even have anything to do with Trump, so I don't know why you're even mentioning him.
it shouldn't be pointless to call out Nancy Pelosi not being criticized. that is the entire point. she's not criticized while people on the other side are. that is partisan media.
in this case the Republicans deserved to be criticized.
in this case Nancy Pelosi deserved to be criticized.
only 1 of those happened.
whether it's Pelosi, Jim Jordan, Matt Gaetz, AOC, Republican, Democrat.. criticize when it's deserving.

“I hate to have to do this, but I’d like to address some of the myths, rumors and general misinformation,” Illinois Department of Public Health Director Dr. Ngozi Ezike said. “Injecting, ingesting, snorting household cleaners is dangerous. It is not advised and can be deadly.”
Her comments came after President Donald Trump on Thursday raised the prospect of disinfectants’ ability to kill the novel coronavirus. Trump has since said he was being sarcastic.
Since then, the Illinois Poison Center reports it got calls on two cases of individuals “who were exposed to disinfectants from inappropriate use.”
In the past couple of days since Trump's remarks, the IPC said it has seen a 60% increase in calls related to "inappropriate exposures to disinfectants/cleaners."
“Some recent examples include the use of a detergent solution for a sinus rinse, and gargling with a bleach and mouthwash,” mixture, Ezike said. “Please do not try home remedies that involve ingesting cleaners or disinfectant. You could have very dire consequences.”
The IPC received 750 household cleaning product calls from March 1 through April 20 last year. In that same period this year, it got 1,024 calls.
Maybe our focus on the fallout of the pandemic should not be political, but it should be economic.
Here’s one exerpt from an article in The Guardian about how America’s wealthy are profiting from the pandemic.
“About 150 public companies managed to bag more than $600m in forgivable loans before the funds ran out. Among them was Shake Shack, a company with 6,000 employees valued at $2bn. It has since given the cash back but others have not.
Fisher Island, a members-only location off the coast of Miami where the average income of residents is $2.2m and the beaches are made from imported Bahamian sand, has received $2m in aid.
Its residents seemed to be doing fine even before the bailout. This month, the island purchased thousands of rapid Covid-19 blood test kits for all residents and workers.”
